Scanning during pregnancy at our Isle of Man clinic.
From 16 weeks.
A chance to check-in with baby. This non-diagnostic reassurance scan is available for any gestation from 16 weeks and includes reassurance and viability by viewing the baby’s heartbeat and movements and measuring the head circumference.
We spend time watching your little one and comment on our findings.
Depending on their position we may be able to offer a 4D preview and confirm baby’s gender (if we do not obtain these, then you will not be offered a discounted rescan, as they are not the main focus of this scan).
Please note that after 34 weeks it gets increasingly trickier to see baby clearly as they grow bigger and occupy most of the womb!
35 minute private appointment ~ £110.00.
We allow 35 minutes for your Bonding Pregnancy Scan.
The pregnancy scan itself takes approx. 15 to 20 minutes, so our generous 35 minute pregnancy scan appointments allow you more time to ask questions and discuss findings with our Midwife Sonographer Jenifer.
Allowing for Mother Nature during Pregnancy Scans.
If baby is being tricky and it is impossible to get the information we are looking for on the day of your scan, we are happy to offer a rescan at a later date, free of charge.
“We had our gender and wellbeing scan with Jen a few weeks ago. It was an incredible experience! Jen was so welcoming. I highly recommend anyone getting one, as it was wonderful to see baby again and also know everything was ok. Thank you so much Jen!
There were happy tears as we left (especially me) - a lot less anxious and so happy we'd seen our baby again xx”

Preparation for your Bonding Scan:
If you are under 20 weeks please come with a half full bladder. If you are over 20 weeks you do not need a full bladder. Regardless of gestation, having something sugary to eat or drink about 15 minutes before your scan time may help encourage baby to be active (not recommended if you have gestational diabetes).
